Course Overview:
During this 8-day training, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Kambo through
the following modules, based on the KPA Practitioner Training Workbook:
1. Introduction to Kambo: Learn about the origins, traditions, and role of Kambo
within the Matsés tribe.
2. 3. Science and Peptides: Understanding Kambo’s biochemical properties and how its
peptides work within the body.
Traditional Applications: Learn traditional burn techniques, point placements, and
variations.
4. 5. 6. 7. Contraindications and Safety: Identifying when Kambo should and should not be
applied and ensuring safe practices.
Client Preparation and Aftercare: Guidelines on preparing clients for treatments
and providing effective aftercare.
Energetic and Spiritual Components: Understanding how energy work and
intuition play a role in Kambo treatments.
Ceremony and Holding Space: Creating and maintaining a safe ceremonial space
for Kambo sessions.
8. Ethical Practice and Practitioner Responsibility: Maintaining integrity and
respectful practice in working with Kambo.
9. Giving and Receiving Treatments: Throughout the course, participants will both
administer Kambo and receive treatments from their peers as part of the practical
modules. This hands-on approach is essential for developing practical skills,
confidence, and a deep experiential understanding of Kambo’s effects.
10. Practical Applications and Client Sessions: Hands-on application with clients to
build practical skills and confidence.
Upon completion, you will be certified to administer Kambo safely and join the KPA
network.
